Washington Post: Lincoln Memorial vandalized with red spray paint
The Lincoln Memorial was vandalized with red spray paint early Tuesday, authorities said.
At about 4:30 a.m., graffiti was found on a column at the memorial, the National Park Service said in a statement. The graffiti was difficult to read, but appeared to say “[expletive] law,” the statement said.
Additional graffiti that couldn’t be read was found in silver spray paint on a Smithsonian wayfinding sign in the 1400 block of Constitution Avenue, according to the statement.

For me all extremist are the same, right, left or anything else. Unfortunately they are a part of the humanity. This is not typically American we can see that everywhere. They are a minority, but they are very damaging.

The best remark that I ever heard about Nazis is from my father. He fought for the Soviet Army during the war, but he was amazed that once the war was over, he could not find one Nazi in eastern Germany .... it was as if they never existed.

Even we don't have the same opinion, I have a huge respect for someone who believe strongly of what he thinks.
That said, you have a point with the kind of special speech these people used and all what the fall out is. But, well, their time is finished. They can make trouble, yes, but they will still stay a minority that can be contained.
One of my fishing buddies was telling me he had a friend who's grandpa was some famous nazi and that he was always nervous about his last name because he thought people would make the connection. I asked him what the name was, Guderian...I suppose he wouldn't want to throw that name around too much if he was visiting Russia.
